Handle and Care

How can I care for my jewelry?

CERAMIC JEWELRY:

Please remember that ceramic is fragile. Due to the nature of the material, we advise handling your pieces with care to avoid chipping or breakage. Should you need a repair, email us with a photo of damage and we will send an invoice for repair.

Please avoid showering or getting your ceramic pieces wet. Ceramic tends to retain humidity due to its porosity, which can cause your pieces to break or go bad.

BRASS GOLD PLATED JEWELRY:

Our work is crafted with gold plated brass metal and stainless steel. These metals allow for a natural tarnish to develop when exposed to air, oil and dirt.  With common wear, plating usually wears off. To maintain your plating for longer:

  • Don't shower or exercise with your pieces
  • Don't clean with chemicals
  • Only wipe with a lightly damp cotton cloth with very little water
  • Avoid contact with perfume, creams, makeup and oils
  • After every wear, we recommend wiping away (with a damp cotton wipe) any facial oils on the piece - as these make their shine diminish
  • Try to store next to small silica bags to avoid exposure to moisture and humidity

FLOWER COLD PORCELAIN EARRINGS:

  • Try to store next to small silica bags to avoid exposure to moisture and humidity
  • Do not get wet

RESIN GOLD FOIL PIECES:

  • Try to store next to small silica bags to avoid exposure to moisture and humidity
  • When not using, please store un provided box or jewelry pouch to avoid nicks
  • Handle with care
  • Don't get wet

Please keep in mind that our jewelry is all hand crafted, making it prone to slight variations in color and size. We embrace artisan work and appreciate your support to our small business.
